November Lockdown Statement

Following the announcement of a second national lockdown, starting today, Thursday 5th November 2020 we would like to update everyone with the following information…

Moving Forward Sports showroom in Northfield will be closed to the public with immediate effect until further notice, re-opening as soon as lockdown is lifted, hopefully this will only be the initial four-week timescale.

However, during this period, manufacturing and processing of orders will continue, but we ask customers to be patient and appreciate things may take a bit longer than usual as there will be less staff working, especially in the factory where any staff with Covid-19 symptoms are being sent home as a precaution.

Over the last few weeks we know customers have been eager to get their orders as soon as possible, and some customers have become frustrated with some orders taking a bit longer. We would ask everyone to please appreciate the difficult circumstances we all face in these times. In production, the workforce with specialist skills is an aging one, as such some are of high risk to health problems such as Covid-19 , and our policy is that people health and wellbeing will always remain a priority over pushing to get orders completed. We would ask people to please respect this, as there are people who have lost loved ones because of this pandemic.

Orders will continue to go through, and we will contact customers when orders are ready, to arrange deliveries or pre-arranged collections. Please do not arrive at our premises without arranging first, as it is likely you may have a wasted journey. We may also be working on reduced hours, and doing some work remotely from home.

We would like to again express our gratitude to each and everyone of our customers. We thank you for your continued business, and hope you are all well, both physically and mentally. Hopefully in the not to distant future we get get back to the ‘normal’ way of doing things, and look to invite you back in to our premises soon.
